October is National Physical Therapy Month! Shoutout to Maria Martino, who does so many amazing things for our students district-wide! From helping our littlest learners build up to important developmental milestones 🧒👶, to ensuring that our older students with physical disabilities can navigate their school environment safely and independently 🚶‍♂️🏫, Maria makes a huge difference every day! This fantastic initiative encourages our youth to stay active and play every day outside of school. Here’s how it works: students earn points for every 15 minutes of movement. This can include a variety of everyday activities, such as playing at the playground, shoveling snow, or even walking your dog! If you accumulate 25 points or more, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a Timberwolves game this season! If you're interested in participating in the GET FIT program, please pick up an information sheet from the office. Forms are limited, so act fast!
