🎉📚⚾ What a fantastic day for our 8th graders! They hit it out of the park while learning all about the A, B, C's of baseball at the St. Paul Saints game! Huge shoutout to the EMS Parents Club for their grant, making this educational adventure possible and helping offset the costs. Thank you for supporting our students' learning experiences beyond the classroom!
May marks Mental Health Awareness Month!
Every Monday this month, we'll be highlighting a different topic to raise awareness and encourage action in supporting our students and community on their mental health journey. At Ellsworth School District, we prioritize understanding and cultivating resilience to manage mental health effectively. If you have any mental health-related questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our Mental Health Coordinator, Kiley Fiala, at fialak@ellsworth.k12.wi.us. She's here to guide you in the right direction!

Every student at our middle school poured their creativity and kindness into crafting notes of encouragement. This week, we've planted these uplifting messages in our very own BEE KIND garden, sowing seeds of positivity and support for all who visit. 💜
It's incredible to see the power of words blossoming. Whether it's a simple "You've got this!" or a heartfelt reminder that "You are capable of amazing things," these notes are reminders that we're all in this together.

🌍 Happy Earth Day, everyone! 🌿 Today is the perfect day to celebrate our planet and spend time in nature. ☀️ Let's make the most of this beautiful weather!
Looking for ways to get your kids involved in Earth Day? Here are some easy and fun activities for families to do tonight:
🌱 Plant a Tree: Find a spot in your yard or a nearby park to plant a tree together. It's a great way to contribute to our environment and teach kids about the importance of trees.
🚶♀️ Take a Nature Walk: Explore our school forest, a local trail or park. Observe the plants, insects, and birds you encounter. Encourage kids to appreciate the beauty of nature around them.
♻️ Clean Up: Grab some reusable bags and gloves, then head out to pick up litter in your neighborhood. Make it a game to see who can collect the most trash!
🎨 Create Nature Art: Collect leaves, flowers, and rocks during your outdoor adventure, then use them to create nature-inspired art when you get home. Think leaf rubbings, flower collages, or painted rocks.
Let's make today memorable by connecting with nature and appreciating its beauty! 🌳
A huge thank you to Kayleen from Brush Strokes for taking the time to visit our Entrepreneurship class at EMS and sharing insights about her small business journey with Mrs. Kuske's students! 💼

It's inspiring to see local entrepreneurs like Kayleen give back to our community by empowering the next generation of business leaders. Thank you again for your time and expertise—it truly made a difference! 🙌
