Spanish II celebrated reading the book Robo en la noche with a Costa Rica themed party. The book includes lots of interesting facts about Costa Rica, a bird heist, and complex characters trying to deal with loss. Students contributed to make casados, traditional Costa Rican meals and were also able to see some birds! Who knows? Some of these students may go to Costa Rica (for real) in the future! ¡Pura vida!🦜

A group of Ellsworth High School students got to try their hand at automotive work, as the school stripped apart and rebuilt a golf cart for local auto shop Courtesy Auto. The project started when Courtesy Auto and Brickner’s Auto each donated a Snap-On Tools Blue-Point starter kit to the school, in addition to Courtesy Auto’s donation of a golf cart back in January. A BIG THANK YOU to Courtesy Auto Repair & Brickner Auto for their donations to the EHS. https://piercecountyjournal.news/stories/ehs-students-work-together-to-assemble-golf-cart,50011
