The ECSD is currently hiring for a Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist.
Job responsibilities will include:
Accounts Payable: invoices, vendor maintenance, W-9s, 1099's, payments to vendors, independent contractors, employee reimbursements, and credit card management.
Payroll Specialist: processing payroll including adjustments/corrections as needed, completing payroll-related tasks, annual/quarterly payroll reporting and maintaining records in accordance with District policy and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. This position also has responsibility for other fiscal and human resources tasks, including but not limited to: employee benefit setup and tracking, unemployment reports, creating and sending employment offers, absence and leave tracking, and other support tasks as needed.

70 FTE Speech Therapist Assistant at Ellsworth Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year.
Under the direction and supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist, the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assists in extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as but not limited to, direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, create visual schedules, co-facilitate social skills student groups and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The SLPA serves students who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well.
A bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a current SLP-A license is preferred. A WI Department of Public Instruction short-term teacher sub-license or a Special Education Program Aide License will be required for this currently licensed position.

The preferred candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate and team with regular education teachers and support staff to meet the needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment; demonstrate the desire to work in a collaborative setting and ensure a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes high levels of learning for all students; Be creative, flexible and have the ability to problem solve; be knowledgeable of current best practices in the education of students with disabilities; demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff and parents. As part of their duties, the special education teacher may co-teach ELA, Writing and / Math in a general education classroom.
Qualifications: Ability to implement creative and innovative classroom instructional practices; Develop and build positive relationships with students, staff, support staff and parents; Knowledge of the evaluation process and IEP requirements; Knowledge of functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention plans; Ability to plan for, support and guide specially designed instruction for delivery to students; Ability to delegate duties and responsibilities to Teaching Assistants to support goals and provide safe learning environments as outlined in a student’s IEP; Ability to implement academic and behavioral interventions; Ability to work collaboratively in a fast pace flexible environment; Ability to incorporate Social-Emotional Learning into daily lesson planning; Training and experience in social skill instruction and teaching self-regulation skills. The qualified candidate must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
