The Ellsworth Elementary/Community Ice Rink
would love to take them off your hands!
Ice skates that are collected will be used by
EES students and community members this winter.
An organizational system and additional skates will be purchased thanks to funds from the
Empower Ellsworth Grant.
Drop them off at your Ellsworth School the week of August 22nd. There will be bins located near the offices.

The new team member will be working as a part of the custodial team through the summer months with hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The shift will then be an afternoon shift (2:00 pm -10:30 pm).

ECSD is currently hiring for a full time- working hours of 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.- special education Teaching Assistant for the 2022-2023 school year.
Special Education aides must obtain a license from the Department of Public Instruction. The license fee will be reimbursed by the school district. The Special Education license must be in process at DPI in order to begin working. Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED; Ongoing training working with children with significant developmental delays is required

Jump Start will be Monday-Thursday, August 1st-4th from 8am-11:30am. The purpose of Jump Start is to help students get back in the swing of school through fun and educational math and reading activities along with providing fun, structured games and activities appropriate to their grade level. All Jump Start classes will be held in the school building where your child will be attending this fall. When possible, we will do our best to assign your child to the teacher they will have for the 22-23 school year.
School Transportation will be available and is a door-to-door service, please fill out the registration in detail to make sure we have the correct information for your child. We will be sending out route numbers and pick-up times via email the last week of July.

This great group of 8th graders (soon to be freshman) went on their 8th grade trip to Washington DC a few weeks ago. This is a long anticipated trip that they start planning their 6th grade year. If your 7th or 8th grade student is interested please have them chat with Mr. Cassellius or Mr. Neu about the trip the summer after their 8th grade year.





ECSD is currently hiring for a .67 High School Science Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
The position involves teaching two out of three blocks during the entire 22-23 school year. The classes run during 1st and 2nd block, which allows for a great opportunity to pick up additional teaching assignments in the afternoon or to leave for the day. We are looking for a qualified educator that is Science certified, however, with the uniqueness of this position all licensed teachers will be considered for this position.

Celebrate all things summer Thursdays June 9 - September 1 at the Summer Fun Series alongside the Ellsworth Farmers Market from 5:00-7:00 pm (excluding Cheese Curd Festival and Pierce County Fair weeks).
Family-fun activities, food vendors, and music offered alongside the Ellsworth Farmers Markets.
Local musicians such as Brooke Elizabeth, St. Croix Valley Opera, Patchouli, Tommy Bentz Band, and Colleen Raye perform from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Local food vendors will offer food for purchase such as River Road Coffee, Mindful Fork, Chef Shack, and Smokey Treats BBQ.
