We still have a few openings for this awesome opportunity! It is open to ANY STUDENT within the ECSD.
We are thrilled to announce that Ellsworth Middle School has partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves for their “Get Fit” Program! This fantastic initiative encourages our youth to stay active and play every day outside of school. Here’s how it works: students earn points for every 15 minutes of movement. This can include a variety of everyday activities, such as playing at the playground, shoveling snow, or even walking your dog! If you accumulate 25 points or more, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a Timberwolves game this season! If you're interested in participating in the GET FIT program, please pick up an information sheet from the office.
Forms are limited, so act fast!
Please return the completed form to Hutch or the MS office. For more details, check out the Timberwolves’ official page: https://www.nba.com/timberwolves/getfit
Let’s get moving, Ellsworth!

🌟 A Day of Service in full action! 🌟 Our 5th-grade teachers teamed up with high school helpers to give back to the community last week! 💪🌍
The 5th grade classes spent their morning cleaning up trash around Summit Park, East End, the Fairgrounds, and the school grounds. 🧹🚮 Each class was joined by two high school students, making this a great opportunity for mentorship and teamwork. 🙌👫
We are so proud of our students and grateful for the high schoolers who stepped up to help!

2024 Day of Service
On September 25th, 2024 EHS held their annual Day of Service. All 9th, 10th and 12th graders reported to 29 sites in the community and surrounding areas. Some of the sites included YMCA, the Ellsworth Library, Friends of the Fair (Christmas lights), Cairns Woods, and highway clean up. A number of students also worked with community members on service learning capstone projects and many visited the local elementary school and helped with garbage clean up. Some painted the dugouts at Summit Park while others worked on the ballfields at Brown Field in Hager City.
We are so grateful to all of our community partners for their help with projects and encouraging our students in making connections and learning new skills!
