It sounds like the Respect Retreat organized by Youth Frontiers for EHS sophomores was a valuable experience. These types of events can have a positive impact on students by creating awareness about the importance of respect and encouraging a positive and inclusive school culture. The retreat included various activities and discussions aimed at promoting respect among students. Students engaged in team-building exercises, discussions on communication and empathy, and other activities designed to foster a sense of community and understanding. Events like the Respect Retreat contribute to creating a school environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued. The lessons and experiences gained during such retreats can have a lasting impact, influencing students' behavior and attitudes in their daily interactions. Thank you to Youth Frontiers and EHS Mentors for a great day!!!

The music department is excited to announce that we have 6 students leaving today for the WI State High School Honors Mixed Choir and Honors Band. This is the biggest accomplishment we have in the state for choir and band students. Students prepared for a rigorous audition in early February. Students are then selected out of about 1400 auditions throughout the state in late March. They attend a 4-day camp at U.W. Green Bay to begin to meet the nationally recognized conductors, learn music, and finally meet back up in Madison in late October to perform at the beautiful Overture Center. We are so very lucky to have 6 students chosen and performing this Thursday evening. WI State Mixed Choir: Lander Levers, Betsy Foster, Mya Petersen, Maleah Petersen, and Bailey Oleson WI State High School Band: Landen Lee We also have one student who auditioned and is performing with the WI State Middle-Level Honors Choir in Madison this Saturday. Henry Penn Please congratulate these students and wish them good luck!!

Help protect your children -- and their classmates -- when they're under the weather so that they can return to the classroom healthy and ready to learn. When your child is sick The best thing you can do is to keep your children home when sick. This will help stop the spread of illness to other children and teachers. Keep them home when they show any of these symptoms: fever of 100 degrees F or higher nausea or vomiting severe headache diarrhea red, watery eyes with yellow or green drainage undiagnosed rash Children should stay home until they have been naturally without fever for at least 24 hours. Please do not give children fever-reducing medication and then send them to school.
