📚💜 Celebrating I Love to Read Month with a Special Guest! 💜📚
We had an extra special treat as author Grace Nye joined us to read her very own book! 🎉✨ Students were captivated by the beautiful illustrations and engaging story, making this a truly unforgettable experience.
What a fantastic way to celebrate the joy of reading!

EES students took a hands-on learning adventure to the Pierce County Highway Shop to explore the world of bridges! 🌉✨
👷♂️ 2nd graders visited in November, and Kindergarteners followed in January—both groups diving into bridge-building lessons in class and STEM. Students designed and tested their own bridges, discovering what makes them sturdy (or not! 😉).
A huge thank you to Chad Johnson and his crew for an incredible experience, showing our students firsthand what it takes to build strong, reliable bridges! 🙌

The Ellsworth Community School District has implemented text messaging in our district messaging system through Infinite Campus. In order to make sure that you are set up correctly in Infinite Campus to receive text messages, you will need to make sure that those choices are checked in Infinite Campus in your parent portal.
**Please note: the district is not moving away from the automated phone calls, we are just adding the text messaging feature to our notification system.

Being a high school helper can have such a meaningful impact—not just for the students, but for everyone involved.
Sometimes, it can be hard to hold onto faith in the younger generation. Then someone like Carson Smith comes along and reminds us of the incredible hope and kindness that still exists.
Carson joined Mrs. Krig's room at EES as a high school helper during the first quarter, and it didn’t take long for him to prove he was so much more than just a helper. He became a bright light, a steady presence, and a source of genuine kindness. They were thrilled when he decided to return for a second quarter, bringing even more positivity into their days.
Last week, as they said goodbye and wished Carson well on his next chapter beyond high school, they were filled with gratitude. He truly made a difference, and the impact he’s had will not be forgotten.
Thank you, Carson, for everything you’ve brought to Mrs. Krig's room—you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. 💜

How cool is this? 🎤✨ Our very own Mr. Whalen had the incredible privilege of announcing at the Target Center multiple times this season! What an amazing experience—so fun! 🏀👏

🌟 Character Education Fun at EES! 🌟
Our students have been busy learning about perseverance while having a blast at Character Ed! From cheering with the EES Cheer Squad to conquering obstacle courses and showing off their hula hooping skills, it’s been an exciting week of teamwork and determination. 💜👏
A big shoutout to the Student Council leaders for their help in organizing the fun activities, and congratulations to our Student of the Month winners for showing compassion this month. 🏆🎉
It's wonderful to see our Panthers living out these important values every day! 💜
