Spanish II celebrated reading the book Robo en la noche with a Costa Rica themed party. The book includes lots of interesting facts about Costa Rica, a bird heist, and complex characters trying to deal with loss. Students contributed to make casados, traditional Costa Rican meals and were also able to see some birds! Who knows? Some of these students may go to Costa Rica (for real) in the future! ¡Pura vida!🦜

A group of Ellsworth High School students got to try their hand at automotive work, as the school stripped apart and rebuilt a golf cart for local auto shop Courtesy Auto. The project started when Courtesy Auto and Brickner’s Auto each donated a Snap-On Tools Blue-Point starter kit to the school, in addition to Courtesy Auto’s donation of a golf cart back in January. A BIG THANK YOU to Courtesy Auto Repair & Brickner Auto for their donations to the EHS. https://piercecountyjournal.news/stories/ehs-students-work-together-to-assemble-golf-cart,50011

Tonight, we gather to bid a fond farewell to some remarkable individuals who have dedicated their hearts and souls to the growth and prosperity of our school. It is with both joy and sadness that we announce the retirement of our esteemed staff members who have contributed so much during their time with us. As they embark on a new chapter in their lives, we cannot help but reflect on the countless memories and achievements they have brought to our school. Their unwavering commitment, passion, and expertise have left an indelible mark on both our institution and the lives of the students they have touched. To our retiring staff members, please know that your impact extends far beyond the walls of our school. You have not only shaped the minds of countless students but have also left an indelible impression on the very fabric of our community. Your legacy will continue to guide and inspire future generations of educators and learners. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors, and may the next chapter of your lives be filled with boundless happiness and adventure.
