Voices is an empowerment counseling group that encourages girls to discover and celebrate their "true selves" in a safe space, with encouragement, structure, and support. The Voices program is a journey of self-discovery, and will be delivered using a strength based approach to help participants identify and apply their voices as individuals and as a group. The focus is on issues that are important in the lives of adolescent girls.
We will be running this group over 12 sessions this summer and would love for your student to participate! We have 5 seats available for any 9th-12th grade girls interested in joining.

Spanish II celebrated reading the book Robo en la noche with a Costa Rica themed party. The book includes lots of interesting facts about Costa Rica, a bird heist, and complex characters trying to deal with loss. Students contributed to make casados, traditional Costa Rican meals and were also able to see some birds! Who knows? Some of these students may go to Costa Rica (for real) in the future! ¡Pura vida!🦜

Celebrate all things summer Thursdays June 8 - August 31 at the Summer Fun Series alongside the Ellsworth Farmers Market from 5:00-7:00 pm (excluding Cheese Curd Festival and Pierce County Fair weeks).
Family-fun activities, food vendors, and music are offered alongside the Ellsworth Farmers Markets. Local musicians such as Brooke Elizabeth, Brent & Sheena, Ditch Lilies, Pickled Beats, and Colleen Raye perform from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Local food vendors will offer food for purchase such as River Road Coffee, Chef Steph, and Gram's Eats & Treats.

A group of Ellsworth High School students got to try their hand at automotive work, as the school stripped apart and rebuilt a golf cart for local auto shop Courtesy Auto.
The project started when Courtesy Auto and Brickner’s Auto each donated a Snap-On Tools Blue-Point starter kit to the school, in addition to Courtesy Auto’s donation of a golf cart back in January.

The new Panther Closet at EHS will be open next week for students and families who may need hygiene items for the summer to stop by. The Panther Closet is located in the high school IMC and will be open 7:30-8:00 am Tuesday- Thursday this week and by appointment with Mrs. Pechacek or one of the counselors. Please stop by if you have a need for items for the summer.
