🎤✨ On October 10th, students in grades 3-5 had the incredible opportunity to hear from ECSD Alumni Tasha Schuh, along with her husband Doug! 🙌
Tasha, an inspirational speaker, equips youth and educators to be resilient in their mental and emotional health. Her powerful message is centered around PATH: Purpose, Attitude, Team, and Hope – the very principles that helped her persevere after a life-changing theater accident at 16, which left her paralyzed from the chest down. 💪💛 Now, Tasha lives a vibrant and fulfilling life with Doug by her side.
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Tasha back to share her inspiring journey with our students!

Shoutout to Maria Martino, who does so many amazing things for our students district-wide! We are thrilled to announce that Ellsworth Middle School has partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves for their “Get Fit” Program! This fantastic initiative encourages our youth to stay active and play every day outside of school. Here’s how it works: students earn points for every 15 minutes of movement. This can include a variety of everyday activities, such as playing at the playground, shoveling snow, or even walking your dog! If you accumulate 25 points or more, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a Timberwolves game this season! If you're interested in participating in the GET FIT program, please pick up an information sheet from the office.
Forms are limited, so act fast!
Please return the completed form to Hutch or the MS office. For more details, check out the Timberwolves’ official page: https://www.nba.com/timberwolves/getfit
