November 13th was World Kindness Day and we celebrated throughout the district. Participating in World Kindness Day is a simple yet impactful way to make a positive difference in the world.
💜 2nd & 3rd graders went to the school forest to read books together in the hammocks.
💜Mrs. Nyseth's students wrote encouraging notes to other people & walked around the school picking up trash.
💜OT was tracing stencils and cutting out the shape are great activities to strengthen the muscles of the hands AND the eyes! Today our OT friends will hide their kind notes in library books.
💜Mrs. Peterson’s third grader delivered a surprise and visited Mrs. Sorli’s second graders to do puzzle time. Students worked together showing patience and kindness to each other.
Kindness was “spread” throughout ECSD!
