The existing locker bays at the middle school are oversized and hard to monitor for student safety. If the April 2 facilities referendum is approved, the locker bay areas will be redesigned to create open, collaborative learning areas for each grade level, while improving student safety. 🌟📚🎓 Exciting news! 🎉🏛️ Lander Lever was selected to participate in the prestigious Senate Scholar program! 🌟👏 This honor is reserved for only one student per senate district, with 33 students statewide. 🌍📜 Get ready for an immersive dive into government and legislative processes! 💼💬 During this rigorous program, Lander explored how legislative branches and non-partisan organizations collaborate to shape laws. 🤝 📝 He had the incredible opportunity to: 🔍 Meet the governor's staff 🍽️ Enjoy lunch at the Executive residence 👀 Observe a Senate session 💬 Speak with a Supreme Court Justice about policy influence But that's not all! Lander also drafted a bill for a debate with fellow scholars and participated in a mock committee hearing. 📜🗣️ Let's give a big round of applause to Lander Lever for representing Ellsworth with such distinction! 🌟👏

International Trip Spring Break 2026 Buen Viaje! The International Club will be traveling to Costa Rica and Panama over Spring Break of 2026. The trip will focus on learning about a new culture, practicing Spanish (not required, but encouraged!), and learning about the history and way of life in a new place, as well as lots of fun adventures. If you have a student who would be interested in being a part of this adventure, there will be an informational meeting for students and parents on March 25th at 5:30 pm in the HS IMC. (There may be spots available for parents to join us on the trip, depending on the number of enrollees, as the trip is limited in size.) At the meeting, we will review the basic itinerary, what to expect, and costs. We will also hear briefly from past trip participants. If you have any questions, please email Anne Pechacek at pechaceka@ellsworth.k12.wi.us.

This message is going out to all families and staff due to the possibility of inclement weather going into the next number of days. At this time, there are no cancellations of school and this is simply for planning purposes. Due to our mild winter so far, we have had no inclement weather cancellations to this point. This allows us some flexibility at this time. Due to this, any inclement weather cancellations in the upcoming week will be virtual learning days for students and staff. Emails will be sent by the building-level principals and staff regarding schedules and plans in the cases of inclement weather days. This plan allows us to continue instruction as we enter the last week of the third quarter and also allows us to keep the Monday, April 1st day scheduled day off of school.
