2024 Day of Service
On September 25th, 2024 EHS held their annual Day of Service. All 9th, 10th and 12th graders reported to 29 sites in the community and surrounding areas. Some of the sites included YMCA, the Ellsworth Library, Friends of the Fair (Christmas lights), Cairns Woods, and highway clean up. A number of students also worked with community members on service learning capstone projects and many visited the local elementary school and helped with garbage clean up. Some painted the dugouts at Summit Park while others worked on the ballfields at Brown Field in Hager City.
We are so grateful to all of our community partners for their help with projects and encouraging our students in making connections and learning new skills!

🎉✨ Happy School Custodian Appreciation Day ✨🎉
Today, we celebrate our amazing custodial crew for the hard work they do every day to keep our schools clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. 🧹🛠️ Your dedication behind the scenes makes a HUGE difference, and we are so grateful for everything you do!
Please join us in saying a big THANK YOU to our fantastic team for always going above and beyond.

Our Neighbors Place Service Project: On the Day of Service, two of our EHS students visited our Neighbors Place, the shelter in River Falls that works with people who may need help making ends meet. They are collecting supplies at PTC as well as home games. There will also be a competition during Homecoming between classes. See the flyer for more details!

Exciting News for Ellsworth Middle School!
We are thrilled to announce that Ellsworth Middle School has partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves for their “Get Fit” Program! This fantastic initiative encourages our youth to stay active and play every day outside of school.
Here’s how it works: students earn points for every 15 minutes of movement. This can include a variety of everyday activities, such as playing at the playground, shoveling snow, or even walking your dog! If you accumulate 25 points or more, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a Timberwolves game this season!
If you're interested in participating in the GET FIT program, please pick up an information sheet from the office. Forms are limited, so act fast! Return completed form to Hutch or the office.
For more details, check out the Timberwolves’ official page: https://www.nba.com/timberwolves/getfit
Let’s get moving, Ellsworth! 🏀💪

Our 1st graders took a trip back in time all the way to the 1800s! 🕰️
After learning how life and families have changed over time, we spent the day pretending we lived long ago! 😍✨ From walking to and from school 🚶♂️🚶♀️, writing with chalk ✏️ on slate boards, bringing lunch in pails , to learning songs and games from the past 🎶🎲, it was an unforgettable experience!
Our young historians had so much fun stepping into the shoes of children from long ago! 📚
