The Ellsworth Community School District Hall of Fame will welcome its inaugural class of inductees in March of 2025. The ECSD Hall of Fame committee was undertaken as a service project to create a way to recognize distinguished Ellsworth area representatives (alumni, staff and/or community members) for their achievements and/or contributions to our school district or are alumni who have gone on to make a positive impact in the larger world.
These contributions/achievements could come from a wide range including arts, athletics, academics, business, community, etc. It is intended to honor them for the impact they have made and their embodiment of the values of the ECSD.
ECSD Hall of Fame Categories
To qualify, the individual needs to have been out of high school for at least ten years and fall into one of the following categories:
Distinguished Ellsworth Alumni
Distinguished ECSD Staff (Retired or Deceased)
Distinguished Ellsworth Area Community Member
ECSD Hall of Fame Committee
The Hall of Fame Nominating Committee is made up of twelve community members who represent a range of community stakeholders, including school staff, service organizations and booster clubs. Nominations are due by December 31st, 2024 and the committee will review applications and announce the inaugural class in late January/ early February of 2025.

Mark your calendar! The ECSD Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored at a banquet on March 22nd, 2025. Tickets will be available in January 2025 for community members who would like to help celebrate these amazing people!
